Morgan

Morgan is a pirate and one of the two boarding party leaders in the pirate camp of Jharkendar, serving under Captain Greg. He is responsible for the food supply of the camp – a duty he delegated entirely to Alligator Jack, the only member of his crew who actually does the work – and for keeping the surrounding area clear of dangerous creatures. An accomplished one-handed fighter with a pragmatic view of combat honor – "either you kill him or he kills you" – he trains his boarding party in one-handed weapon combat. During the absence of Greg, however, Morgan spent his time drinking and sleeping on the beach instead of fulfilling his duties, and his crew followed his example. Despite claiming to pay generous wages for work done, his lack of a role model meant nobody lifted a finger. When Angus and Hank disappeared, Morgan joined the search but failed to find them – his grief was less about losing two crewmates and more about a precious ring he had lost to Angus in a dice game and hoped to win back. The hero can recover the ring from the cave where the bodies lie and return it to Morgan, who rewards the favor with a valuable stone tablet. When Greg finally returned and discovered the state of affairs, he was furious – Morgan was stripped of his duties and sentenced to saw planks alongside Francis, while his original task of clearing the area of monsters was reassigned to the hero and a new boarding party. After the orc invasion of Khorinis, the surviving humans were transported to the mainland on orc galleys and given a choice between slavery or serving as orc mercenaries – what became of Morgan is unknown.
