Moe

Moe is the doorman of the harbor tavern "The One-Legged Klabauterman" in the harbor district of Khorinis. A surly thug, he shakes down unsuspecting newcomers for 50 gold pieces as "admission" to the tavern – and those who refuse get trouble. He leaves paladins, Fire Mages, militia soldiers, and novices alone, but everyone else is fair game. He feels safe in the harbor district since the militia doesn't dare venture there. Despite his rough manner, he knows the quarter well and keeps up with events: the only ship in the harbor belongs to the paladins, Lord Andre keeps sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, and after the murder of the paladin Lothar, he advises anyone not in the militia to get out of the city for a while. Occasionally, he also delivers "greetings" from the moneylender Lehmar to delinquent debtors.
