Merdarion

Merdarion is a Water Mage from Varant and the spiritual leader of the nomadic tribe of Kayor. He left his homeland when the king called, helped create the Barrier, and was trapped within it. In the New Camp, he researched magical ore and helped develop the escape plan. After the fall of the Barrier, he explored the underground vaults of the Builders in the northeast of Khorinis with the Water Mages, trying to determine where the portal would lead. In Jharkendar, he discovered that the ancient civilization's teleporter stones formed an interconnected transportation network – powered by magical focus stones, the very same ones that had once created the Barrier. He entrusted the hero with the focus stones, with whose help the Builders' entire teleporter network could be reactivated. Merdarion instructs Water Mages and members of the Ring in water magic and the enhancement of magical power.
