Martin
Martin is the quartermaster of the paladins in the harbor district of Khorinis and a member of the militia himself. He manages the supply stocks on the pier and quietly sells from the inventory on the side – as long as the quartermaster confirms everything is in order, no one notices. His biggest problem: every time he goes to Kardif's tavern in the evening, something goes missing from the supplies by morning, and the paladins never see anything – to them, all militia soldiers look the same. The hero takes over the night watch and catches the militia soldier Rangar red-handed. In secret, Martin is a member of the Ring of Water and a good friend of Lares, who sends the hero to him when looking to join the militia. Martin writes a letter of recommendation for Lord Andre and helps the hero gather evidence against the weapons dealer Fernando, who has been supplying the bandits with arms. He also mediates between the fisherman Farim and the militia, using his influence with the paladins to place the fisherman under their protection.
