Mario

Mario presents himself as a former lieutenant in the royal navy, waiting in the harbor district of Khorinis for a new commission. He claims to have served aboard the King Rhobar and the Myrtana's Pride and to have single-handedly killed two dozen orcs in the Battle of the Eastern Archipelago. Trained in boarding warfare and close combat, he offers the hero his services for the voyage to Irdorath – no pay, just passage. But behind the convincing facade of the seasoned marine hides an agent of the Seekers: Mario was enchanted by them and sent to Khorinis with orders to infiltrate the hero's crew. Only Lester seems to instinctively sense that something is wrong with him. Upon arriving at Irdorath, Mario abandons the ship during the first orc attack and walks unharmed through enemy ranks. Before the halls of the Undead Dragon, he reveals his true nature and challenges the hero to a fight.
