Kurgan

Kurgan is a Dragon Hunter camped in the Valley of Mines alongside Godar, Kjorn, and Hokurn. He is confident in his own abilities and dismisses newcomers as likely to faint at the first dragon's breath. The group has no leader – when Sylvio tried to boss them around, they gave him and his men a beating, after which Sylvio left on his own. Kurgan hopes he ended up in an orc cooking pot. Despite their tough talk, the group shows little urgency to actually hunt dragons. Their plan is to first scout the locations of the beasts and then figure out how to strike – getting past the orcs is a problem they will worry about later. They eventually found a route past the orc lines and relocated to a cave near the ice region, but continued to wait for a favorable opportunity rather than taking action. When the hero reports that all dragons are dead, Kurgan refuses to believe it – who killed them, the paladins? After the orc invasion of Khorinis, the surviving humans were transported to the mainland on orc galleys and given a choice between slavery or serving as orc mercenaries – what became of Kurgan is unknown.
