Keroloth

Keroloth is a paladin stationed at the castle in the Valley of Mines who oversees the combat training of the besieged troops. He trains soldiers in both one-handed and two-handed weapon combat, accepting anyone capable of fighting – though he cannot help beyond a certain skill level and directs advanced fighters to seek a proper sword master. For ranged combat, he recommends the crossbow marksman Udar. Keroloth has a strong dislike of the Dragon Hunters who arrived at the castle later. His money pouch has gone missing and he is convinced one of the Dragon Hunters stole it, furious enough to want to beat the thief senseless. The hero can find the pouch near the smithy – whether it was dropped or stolen remains unclear. The hero can return it for a small reward of 50 gold, though Keroloth remains suspicious regardless. If the castle gate is opened for Torlof, Keroloth suspects the hero of being the traitor and attacks.
