Jora

Jora is a young, sometimes arrogant traveling merchant at the Khorinis marketplace who lodges at Hanna's inn like most visiting traders. He offers a good selection for travelers but is suspicious of strangers – understandably so, since the pickpocket Rengaru stole 50 gold pieces from him and drinks the money away at the free beer stand. Jora can't call the city guard since the thief wasn't caught in the act. Anyone who returns his gold receives a valuable clue about the thieves' guild in return: shady characters hang around the harbor tavern, and the innkeeper knows more than he lets on. On the other hand, Jora can be generous – when the hero wants to buy the arena fighter Alrik's sword from him, he gives it away for free out of gratitude for recovering his gold.
