Jack

Jack is an old captain and lighthouse keeper of Khorinis whom no one will hire anymore due to his advanced age. His lighthouse north of the city, the closest thing he has to a home, had to be abandoned when bandits from the Valley of Mines occupied it. With the hero's help, he drove out the intruders and returned to his tower. Jack knows the harbor of Khorinis like no one else and watches its decline with sadness – no ships dock anymore, trade is dead, and the harbor district is overrun with riffraff. Despite his years, he longs to set sail one more time. The hero can recruit him as captain for the voyage to Irdorath, provided Brian, the blacksmith Harad's apprentice, takes over the lighthouse in his absence. From his tower, one has an incomparable view of the sea.
