Governor's Gardener

The gardener tends the garden of Governor Larius in the Upper Quarter of Khorinis. He was once supposed to be sent to the penal colony for murder, but since Larius needed a gardener, he was spared and allowed to stay. Over the years, the garden became his home and he found peace there. He grows fireweed and fire nettles, which he sells to travelers – he also tried growing swampweed, but it barely took root. In secret, he is a member of the thieves' guild of Khorinis and shares a valuable tip with trusted fellow thieves: some of the houses in the Upper Quarter have hidden walls with concealed switches, behind which the wealthy citizens keep their most precious belongings.
