Geppert

Geppert is a convict stranded in the Valley of Mines who was part of the expedition of the paladin Garond. He and his companion Kervo managed to escape the mines and hid in a small cave by the river, determined never to return. He hides from the militia scouts that patrol the area and greets anyone who finds his hideout with hostility, suspecting they have come to drag him back. His position is non-negotiable – either the visitor kills him or leaves. After the orc invasion of Khorinis, the surviving humans were transported to the mainland on orc galleys and given a choice between slavery or serving as orc mercenaries – what became of Geppert is unknown.
