Feros

Feros is a Dragon Hunter who came to Khorinis as a refugee from the mainland, fleeing the orc war that was devastating the kingdom. The situation on the mainland was dire – the orcs left nothing but burned villages, the king had lost control of his realm, and the capital was under siege. When Feros heard about the dragons in the Valley of Mines, he wanted to help and joined the Dragon Hunters. He entered the valley with a group but split from them over disputes about who owned what. While sneaking through the orc lines, he lost his ore sword and was forced to retreat to the castle, where he sits stranded – the weapons available for purchase there are scrap. The hero can find the lost sword on a high cliff in the south near the orc tents, or give Feros a different ore blade. In gratitude, Feros teaches the hero how to better channel strength and dexterity into combat – training both attributes. After the orc attack on the castle following the opening of the gate, Feros is shaken and refuses to do anything more, grateful just to be alive.
