Farim

Farim is a fisherman in the harbor district of Khorinis whose hut sits right by the passage to the deep-sea harbor. He is constantly harassed by the militia, who plunder his fish supplies – last week they took his entire catch, claiming it was "for the good cause." If it continues, he won't have enough to feed himself. Through the hero's mediation, Martin, the paladins' quartermaster, was able to place Farim under his protection. His friend William, also a fisherman, was kidnapped by bandits and killed by wild animals while trying to escape. Farim knew William had gotten mixed up with shady characters – he had accidentally spotted him meeting with them in a bay north of the harbor while out fishing. In gratitude for the help, he gives the hero a strange blue stone he found on one of the islands off the coast of Khorinis.
