Erol

Erol is a traveling merchant and quite an old but still powerful man who lives in a hut by the lake on the border of Onar's land. The mercenaries Buster and a companion guard his house in his absence – good customers whom he pays for the service. On his way to Akil's farm, he was ambushed by bandits who leaped from a bridge onto his wagon and slaughtered his helpers. Erol knocked some of the attackers back with his notorious right hook but sprained his ankle in the process. The bandits stole three valuable stone tablets that he had promised to the Water Mage Vatras in the city – artifacts of the ancient culture that Erol has been collecting from mausoleums and caves and has already sold to the mage in quantity. Anyone who returns the tablets learns a simple trick from him for hitting harder in combat: the power comes not from the arm but from the whole body.
