Cavalorn

Cavalorn is a skilled hunter and former Shadow of the Old Camp, thrown into the penal colony for unknown crimes. Within the Barrier, he lived in a woodcutter's hut near the Old Camp, hunted scavengers, and was considered one of the best sneaks in the colony. He taught the hero archery and stealth. After the fall of the Barrier, he joined the Ring of Water – the Water Mages secured a pardon for his crimes, and since then he has carried out errands and dangerous missions for them. On Khorinis, the hero found him near Xardas' tower, where Cavalorn had been ambushed and robbed by bandits. Together they dealt with the thieves, and Cavalorn entrusted the hero with a letter for the Water Mage Vatras – the hero's first contact with the Ring of Water. Later, Cavalorn took part in the search for the Builders' ornaments and discovered that the paladins had seized one of the fragments after battling a stone guardian. He remained in the city of Khorinis when the hero set sail for Irdorath aboard the Esmeralda.
