Brian

Brian is the apprentice of the blacksmith Harad in the lower city of Khorinis. He is a decent fellow who has learned a great deal from his master but wants to leave the city – not because of Harad, but because the other master craftsmen get on his nerves. He still remembers the ordeal of being accepted as an apprentice, with every master having their say. Brian sells smithing blanks and can tell newcomers much about the masters of the lower city. Since the paladins ordered Harad to forge swords exclusively for them, the weapons produced in the smithy are collected by the militia and stored in the city towers. After the lighthouse keeper Jack left the island with the hero, Brian took over the lighthouse and set up his own smithy there – finally free from the rules of the city's master craftsmen.
