Bones

Bones is a pirate and member of the crew of Captain Greg in Jharkendar, who considers himself a living legend. For years, the pirates lived in the nearly abandoned valley in the northeast of Khorinis, going on raiding expeditions from their camp. Shortly after the fall of the Barrier, bandits approached the pirates and paid to be ferried into the valley – until they stopped paying and began attacking the crew instead. Greg gave Bones the assignment of infiltrating the bandit camp using the only bandit armor in the possession of the pirates, in order to spy on them. Bones considered this task a privilege earned through hard work and trained diligently for it on the beach – though he mostly enjoyed it because it spared him from the usual chores around the camp. When the hero arrived and Greg transferred the mission to him instead, Bones was extremely relieved – in his view, spying on the bandits was pure suicide. He happily accepted disciplinary duty from Greg rather than risk his life. He hands over the bandit armor to the hero on the orders of Greg, pointing travelers to Henry and Morgan for combat training, and to Alligator Jack or Samuel for other skills. After the orc invasion of Khorinis, the surviving humans were transported to the mainland on orc galleys and given a choice between slavery or serving as orc mercenaries – what became of Bones is unknown.
