Boltan

Boltan is a militia soldier in the city of Khorinis who serves under Lord Andre in the barracks. His duty is guarding the prisoners – he maintains order in the jail and prevents angry citizens from assaulting the inmates. Militia members, paladins, and Fire Mages are granted access to the cells without question, while other visitors are only tolerated briefly. When the mercenary blacksmith Bennet is imprisoned for the murder of the paladin Lothar, Boltan makes it unmistakably clear that he will answer any rescue attempt with an immediate alarm and reinforcements.
