Biff

Biff is a Dragon Hunter in the Valley of Mines – an adventurous, foul-mouthed mercenary motivated entirely by gold. He accompanies the hero on his expeditions through the valley for a fee of 100 gold pieces or half the loot, demanding regular payments to keep following. He is one of the few Dragon Hunters who actually participated in the dragon hunt alongside the hero, together with Gorn, Cipher, and Rod, while the rest of the crew sat around drinking juniper spirits. He stays well clear of the paladins, however. Biff is blunt, aggressive, and quick to threaten anyone who annoys him with too many questions – but as long as the coins keep flowing into his pockets, he fights bravely at the hero's side. After all four dragons are slain, Biff is almost disappointed – he was just getting into it. The hero recruits him for the voyage to Irdorath by promising more gold than he can carry. On Irdorath, he is tasked with guarding the ship – much to his annoyance – but after the undead dragon falls, the hero gives him free reign to plunder the entire island.
