Abuyin

Abuyin ibn Djadir ibn Omar Kalid ben Hadji al Sharidi – known simply as Abuyin – is a seer, fortune teller, astrologer, and tobacco purveyor from the Southern Islands who offers his services near the gallows square in the lower city of Khorinis. With flowery speech and reverent forms of address, he welcomes customers on his carpets, where he provides exquisite apple tobacco in water pipes and foretells fragments of the near future for an ever-increasing fee. His visions are cryptic yet remarkably accurate – hinting at the expedition into the Valley of Mines, the dragon attacks, the search for the Eye of Innos, and the dark events on Irdorath. Abuyin is always on the lookout for better tobacco and rewards anyone who brings him a new blend – honey tobacco in particular has won his heart. Swampweed, however, makes him nervous, and he urgently advises getting rid of it outside the city walls.
