Swamp

The swamp in the Valley of Mines is a large wetland that formed west of the castle after the fall of the Barrier. Here, where an orc arena once stood carved into the rock, the swamp dragon Pandrodor made its lair and transformed the entire area into a reeking morass of rotting trees and dead creatures. The dragon's presence attracted numerous swamp creatures – bloodflies, swamp sharks, lizardmen, swamp rats, and swamp gas drones thrive in the murky waters. During the time of the Barrier, this area was still dry ground, guarded by orc warriors who watched over a semicircular tribune adorned with orc statues and a mysterious chamber housing a rune-covered pillar. The Dragon Hunters Cipher and Rod waited at the edge of the swamp for the right moment to move against the dragon. Together with the hero, they finally managed to slay Pandrodor in his swamp.
