Swamp Dragon

The swamp dragon Pandrodor was one of the four dragons in the Valley of Mines and a commander of the orcs. He answered the call of his master, the undead dragon in the Halls of Irdorath, and attacked the Old Camp with his brothers, severely damaging the castle. Afterwards he retreated to an old orc arena west of the castle, where a semicircular tribune with orc statues and a mysterious chamber with a rune-covered pillar once stood. Through his magic he transformed the entire area into the swamp – a reeking morass of rotting trees and dead creatures. His presence attracted numerous swamp creatures: bloodflies, swamp sharks, lizardmen, swamp rats, and swamp gas drones thrived in the murky waters. The Dragon Hunters Cipher and Rod waited at the edge of the swamp for the right moment – Cipher still remembered when one didn't get wet feet in this area. Neither wanted to go in alone. Together with the hero, they fought through the swamp's creatures to the former arena, where they confronted Pandrodor. Using the Eye of Innos, the hero forced the dragon to speak – Pandrodor revealed the locations of the other dragons and the plans of Beliar, before falling in battle. The hero extracted his heart and used it to recharge the weakened Eye of Innos.
