Lizardman
Lizardmen are lesser servant creatures of the dragons in the Valley of Mines of Khorinis. They walk on two legs, their skin consists entirely of scales, and they are armed with lizard swords that resemble the Krush Varrok of the orcs. When hunting, they behave like snappers – moving slowly, snorting and sniffing before striking. They primarily dwell in caves but are also spotted in the open. Their task was guarding the dragon hoards in the Valley of Mines: they stationed themselves in the swamp west of the castle, on the plateau before the mountain fortress, at the volcano, and in the ice wasteland of the former New Camp. Additionally, some were sent to the Valley of Khorinis to hide dragon eggs in caves and secure the dragons' lineage – Lee noticed that lizardmen were spreading across the land. On the island of Irdorath, a horde of lizardmen protected the eggs of the fire dragon Feodaron and were observed carrying dragon eggs toward the coast. The mercenary Gorn described them as upright-walking beings with scaly skin that prowl across the rocks, whose sniffing and snorting he could hear from his observation post before the mountain fortress. The dragon eggs captured by the hero proved to be extremely robust material, which the blacksmith Bennet used to improve the Dragon Hunter armor.
