Ice Golem

Ice golems are the most powerful of all golems – creatures magically forged from frozen water whose smooth surface no known weapon can harm. They cast Ice Block and Ice Arrow to attack enemies at great distances and can encase the unwary in a pillar of ice with their freezing breath. They are completely immune to ice magic, but fire magic is their great weakness – a Fire Mage reportedly had no serious trouble with one. Ice golems usually appear near large frozen areas. In the ice wasteland of the Valley of Mines, they guarded the entrance to the ice dragon Finkregh's cave and killed most of Sylvio's Dragon Hunters before the hero dealt with them. They also served as part of the golem puzzle before Xardas' tower in the orc territory. An ice golem's heart and body pieces can be extracted – valuable ingredients for crafting Ice Block and Ice Arrow runes.
