Fire Dragon

The fire dragon Feomathar was one of the four dragons in the Valley of Mines, whose element was fire – burning everything in a single breath, leaving nothing but ashes. His brother, the fire dragon Feodaron, guarded the dragons' offspring on the island of Irdorath under the watchful eyes of their master. Feomathar answered the Sleeper's call and attacked the Old Camp with his brothers, severely damaging the castle and destroying its entire outer ring. Afterwards he retreated to a high mountain south of the Old Camp – the old keep that once stood in the orc territory. Through his magic he transformed the mountain into the volcano, making flames erupt from it and gaining a perfect vantage point over the entire valley. A large troop of lizardmen stationed themselves on the mountain as his guard, and fire golems gathered on the slopes drawn by the heat. At the foot of the mountain lies a lake fed by waterfalls, in which Xardas' sunken first tower rests. The hero fought through the dragon's minions to the summit and faced the terrible fire dragon. Using the Eye of Innos, he forced the servant of Beliar to speak. Feomathar revealed the secrets of his master and attacked as soon as the Eye weakened – but the hero gained the upper hand and extinguished the dragon's life. He extracted the dead dragon's magical heart and used it to recharge the Eye of Innos.
