Desert Rat

The desert rat is a subspecies of the giant rat native to the arid canyon region of Jharkendar. Its yellowish-reddish-brown fur provides excellent camouflage in the sandy, barren landscape. Unlike its relatives in the swamps and forests, the desert rat has perfectly adapted to the dry climate. It is similarly timid to other rat species and poses little danger to experienced adventurers.
